So beautiful, so functional, so tactile!
Feels great in the hand. Tactile buttons, and love the scrolling on the wheel. Simple device, but sleek and solid. Happy with the purchase.
The timer has worked great so far! I have only charged it twice so far, and I have had about two weeks worth of use out of it. Now, a lot of that is standby time, but still about one week per charge is okay with my usage. It has really helped me focus on making sure I rotate my study appropriately between classes. I had a bad habit of spending hours on one class and never thinking about the others, and that always came back to bite me. Thie timer allows me to set a time, study for that alloted time, and then move on to the next topic after a brief break. Then, just continue to rotate. If I need to focus more on one class specifically, I can adjust for that. The point it, that this timer has helped me dial in my study habits and I feel like I have more well-rounded study sessions! Also, the aesthetics are great! I love my midnight black unit! the timer looks and feels SOLID too! Speaking of solid, this thing is built very well. The package it arrived in was all but demolished. the box was torn in one corner and it was crushed and crunched in. It looked like it had been dropped out of an airplane and into an active monster truck rally, only to be run over by Grave Digger. I was sincerely concerned that I was going to have to go through a troublesome claim issue with the post office and a return process with MDS. To my surprise, the timer was unphased. The internal packaging and tray that it was seated in too the brunt of the force and left the timer completely untouched. I inspected every millimeter of surface area for damage and didn't see a thing. The timer turned right on, the cradle was in ship-shape, and it all works well when plugged in! It charges and works just fine! I am doubtful that a lesser product would have arrived undamaged after seeing the condition of the box. If I could provide an idea for improvement, I would recommend adding some indicators to the front of the unit to reference the corresponding side buttons. I am scatter-brained and have trouble remembering which buttons do what on the side of the timer if I don't pick the timer up and look at it. You can see in my photo that I added two arrow stickers to the front of the timer to indicate that the side button right there is the up/down function. It isn't beautiful, but it works, and now I don't have to pick the timer up and look every time I want to swap from break to work when I don't remember which of the three buttons I need. Maybe MDS could laser engrave a reference indicator to the front, just left of the screen, in the spot where I have my stickers in Flow Timer 2.0. Thanks!

I love how the flow timer looks and feels, and I’m even more impressed by how quickly it’s improved my focus and got me sticking to longer periods of productive work and breaks
The timer is well made, thank you. A few things to improve though. The sound volume isn't high enough or it does not sound sometimes.
I'm neurodivergent and I find this timer helps me keep track of my focus, without being too jarring or distracting when it goes off. I like that I can set a custom preset - I prefer a 55/5 set up. The chime is noticeable enough that I can't miss it in a hyperfocus, but soft enough that it doesn't jolt me out of the zone either if I decide I want to ignore it. I also found the haptic qualities of the buttons pretty nice, and it feels nice and heavy as well.
As a Kickstarter backer of the Flow Timer project, I have followed the entire development journey of this product. In addition, the first unit I received was replaced with the latest version, which addresses some of the issues found initially. I am extremely satisfied with this Flow Timer. The MDS team has done an excellent job, showing great attention to the feedback provided by the people who received the product and taking their suggestions into account. I was truly impressed by the quality of the product and the many features it offers, making it versatile and suitable for a variety of uses. I use this Flow Timer during my daily sessions, and I have realized just how useful it is for organizing and managing my time more effectively.
I'm learning how to plan. I'm already enjoying it. Finally, I'll stop postponing things indefinitely :-)

Unit looks and performs great. Very thoughtful product design, and the team did an excellent job navigating launch bugs. They did the right thing by shipping updated replacement units at their expense, and the new unit is flawless.
This pencil truly needs no sharpening despite the heavy use it’s already gone through. I like the protective plastic cap it came with to protect what the tip could have touched in my tote bag when I haul the system about. The balance is great with the aluminum body. The pencil allows me to write without fear of making a mistake in pen. A bit light for me (comparable to a HB or #2) but it works well.
Who knew a minimalist tray would elevate my day? All I need for the day is vertical and in my face. My chaotic day caregiving tasks becomes sane for now. I can see this tray holding side gig tasks and time no problem. Not a fussy item: slots for the day’s cards and two slots for the carbon tip pencil and a pen or highlighter. I bought the birch; I like the lighter color in this drab home
Though I’m a newbie the learning curve to using this minimalist system helps organize my racing thoughts. I’m able to accomplish my weekly tasks and events, and the habit tracker monitors whether or not I’m practicing my daily tasks in line with my quarterly goals

This sounds like a load of exaggeration, but this timer is genuinely the most premium device I have ever held in my hands. There is SO MUCH heft to it. The aluminum body and finish feel extremely premium. Every single button has a wonderful tactile clicky feel to them. I love that there are enough buttons that I don't need to memorize some complex algorithm of pressing and holding to get to certain menus. The display is the star here. The two rows of numbers are clear and huge. This device... every single aspect of it has been crafted to be the ultimate and most luxurious pomodoro timer. I love that it doesn't try to be anything extra. There's no hygrometer function, no unnecessary Bluetooth pairing. It is just a f***ing good timer.

Fantastic product. I have been with these guys since the start. How they developed their product and refined it to become the version it is speaks highly of them. It is a great tool in pride of place beneath my iMac. Believe me, anything on my desk has to earn it's place. And this little timer does that and more.

My brain is kind of cooked as traditional pomodoro times on my laptop don’t let me wake up during breaks, instead I find myself watching YouTube. So far it’s great and I low how it looks and feels like :)
I’ve wanted a concise and minimalist goal planning, time tracking system for over 43 years. Generations later here’s mds. I’m able to fill out my behemoth goal planner drilling down to the minute details, and each night, I transfer the highlights to my weekly, time and task, and habit cards. It greatly affords me origination and high efficiency WHILE I caregive my elderly mom 24 7. Having my 3 cards in front of me in the card tray keeps my day highly visible. BUT! I’ve never heard of tomatoes. The Pomodoro flow timer is my personal assistant I’ve been wanting for over 43 years; I become focused on an item and 8 hours later without a break I’m wondering where my day went. The time increments are individualized. I liked the 25/5 but found my mind thrives on the 45/15 setting. I’ve kept the default audio reminder. It’s unique and I can hear it way across the other side of the house. I am now able to align my entire day in total efficiency. I can see my tasks working towards my target goals. I can fit in my personal tasks. And the examples on your website? The muted color highlights? Genius. My tasks are color coordinated and when my training becomes my side gig, these time cards will enable me to record keep for tax time. I could ramble incessantly, but my takeaway is this: if you want a minimalist approach to eating that frog and getting things done, the mds flow bundle gets you there without stressing out. A great value. My only CON is logistics: I wish there was an Amazon storefront or USA warehouse because I’ll need more cards from Australia/China. Beautifully designed components no complaints at all. Nice carbon tip pencil with a #2 hardness darkness and heavy well-balanced barrel. Perfect minimalist packaging Thank you. Been running this in between projects. First time consistently using a timer to get things done. This one makes it fun with a nice visual and alarm 🚨 sounds. Build and quality is top tier. Big screen with pre- programmed times tops it off. The wheel and selection button is also nice! 😊
The tip had snapped off the pencil when i took off the cap.
You know I’m so glad it’s always a gamble kickstarter tech but this is a lovely device it looks feels amazing. The knob is lovely to spin and the intuitive minute and second clock changes depending on spin speed - I love this. I think considering it’s already so good I would ask is it worth incorporating a basic alarm clock into it too? Now I may be wrong because it could detract from the true essence of the product but maybe even a standby clock could be cool. Even without my suggestion it’s 5 star because it does what I need easily and perfectly. Thank you.
